• Certified Lay Servant who completes the Basic Course, 6 required advanced courses, an interview with District Committee on Lay Servant Ministries
• Approved by a pastor, Charge Conference, and Annual Conference Committee on Lay Servant Ministry
• Complete 1 advance course every 3 years
• File annual report
