Lexington FUMC
Exciting growth! In the past five years, the worship attendance at Lexington First has increased 24%. We recently voted to purchase the old Ford Building next door for expansion. We are now going through a capital campaign to pay off this debt. We have plans to put up a building at some point in the future. There has been some talk about an interactive Children’s Center. It would be a new way of of presenting Christ to the next generation, involving computers and arts and crafts. This in turn could be used as a ministry during the week for children in the community.
